  1. ​ @firefighter1c57  There's no African culture in the US. First off Africa is an entire continent. Do you mean Egyptian culture or Ethiopian? Completely different things. NOLA is French and Caribbean. Not African. That's what spread across Louisiana. Which means those types of music were heavily influenced by Caribbean music. Not African. If you listen to music from both areas, you'll hear the influence.
