@robertlewis6915 The death penalty is determined by jurors not the government, judge, or prosecutor. There are strict guidelines as to what crimes can be considered a captial offense. It takes an overwhelming amount of evidence, especially now with advances, for a jury to sentence someone to that. In most cases it's serial killers or an extremely heinous crime. This person, as an example, would not be eligible for it in any state that has it because his charges don't reach that level. Sorry, I'm 100% pro death penalty. Some people shouldn't be allowed to live. Not just because of the crimes they've committed but also because of cults that tend to grow around people that are capable of such horrific acts.
