Wait...does that mean we'll have to change the annual gathering of all Natives from Powwow? Are we still allowed to use it? This is so stupid.

@3rdwaveredpill144 No they don't. My husband works for one of the large oil companies and they are not operating at a loss. Since they've drastically reduced investing in exploration because of climate change legislation, they've got more profit than ever. They did operate at a loss in 2020 when oil prices went negative, but that was temporary. A loss for 1 or two years isn't enough to bankrupt a large company.

A lot of people are claiming to be libertarian that aren't . There are people that call themselves libertarian Socialist and Communist. Clearly not libertarian ideas. They use it intentionally to muddy the waters. Also most aren't Ancap either. Vaush calls himself libertarian. As someone that would fall under libertarian, I'm insulted. It's funny you mention Dave Smith because he's Ancap but understands that's not possible anytime soon. Yes, I do not care what 2 consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home. That does not extend to public places. I think the war on drugs has been a complete failure and resources would be better spent on rehabilitation for addicts. It also spawned the government being able to seize your private property on just the suspicion and doesn't require a conviction which should be horrifying to anyone that claims to care about private property rights. The "conservatives" in the US are responsible for legislation like the Patriot Act which was a huge power grab. Most conservatives approved of it because "if you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to hide". No I don't want to be a part of that group.

@DH1984-d7d Wow! Using an insult dating back to the 1500s. How edgy.

@RJStockton I believe by the time they got to the area much of the Neanderthal population had already succumbed to the coming ice age making them much easier to conquer. Neanderthals were more adaptable and really should have survived but like you said they were simply overwhelmed by numbers.

@jonasribeiro2001 Because it leaves chunks which burn easily in a the hot oil bath you dunk the chicken pieces into. Chicken requires more cooking time, especially bone in, than any other type of meat to make sure it's done. Plus chunks won't create a uniform flavor. Mixing chunks into flour doesn't work well. I'm really wondering how some of these people fry chicken because it sounds like ya'll are doing it wrong. Buttermilk with seasonings brine, dry it, seasoned flour, seasoned egg dip, back into seasoned flour to create a nice crust that won't fall off.

I remember him saying don't cross this redline, then they did, and he didn't do anything.

@sneedchuckington I agree but that's because it's mixed into the flour. For a marinade fresh would be fine. I can't even fathom what my batter would look like with chunks of onions and garlic in it.

@bobsmith5185 Oh Lord! New Coke. When offices all over the country were telling Coke to remove their vending machines. The stupid thing about it was they made it because regular Coke had slipped from the top spot. They didn't read anything past that and thought it was Pepsi beating them, but it was Diet Coke. Either way, the company's product was still #1.

Whether or not YOU think that disqualifies him is irrelevant. It's if the courts do. A lot took issue with Ted Cruz because he was born in Canada. The difference is both parents were citizens and they were there at the behest of the US government. It would be like disqualifying someone because they were born while their parents were working abroad as US ambassadors. Most countries don't give citizenship based on simply being born in that country. It transfers based on the parent's citizenship. That's where conflicts of citizenship enter in. The conflict of his citizenship would be because one parent wasn't a citizen and was a citizen of another country giving him citizenship in that country first not just by virtue of being born there alone, but based on that AND lineage. That's why the courts found Cruz to be eligible, but likely wouldn't have found Obama. Edit: My eldest son was born in Canada and his father was Canadian at the time, but since has acquired US citizenship. He's not even eligible to work for intelligence much less run for President.

The one in the box is a flintlock and also a replica. Notice there's no tumbler. That's how you know it's a flintlock. It's loaded through the muzzle rather than opening it to put the bullet in. Edit: I've been around muzzle loaders my entire life because I have one. It was my grandfather's. That's a muzzle loading pistol, aka flintlock pistol. It is most likely a replica of Washington's. Hence why it's in a collector's box with the portrait in it.

Maybe a prop from a movie?

@kalashnikov1343 Yes the at least hundreds of thousands if not millions of cases of food poisoning every year is just fear mongering.

Reagan was his inside man in Hollywood. He'd overhear conversations or they'd try to get him on board and he reported them to McCarthy.

I wouldn't use chopped onions and garlic in a batter for frying chicken or fish. It'll be chunky and won't evenly distribute.

@clairewarner5704 I think people miss that part of what Santa represents. That's why when my children were little I made it clear that Santa is the spirit of Christmas. The giving to others. Once they figured out it wasn't a real person, they also realize I never lied to them. I never once tell them it's a single person. Whenever they ask, even now, I answer yes he's the spirit of Christmas. Edit: I thank my mother for that because that's who she taught us he was. She also without flinching would say he's real until the day she died. I believe that came from her father.

I do rinse my whole chicken to look for feathers as there tend to be small ones in some places. I can see where they are and remove them. Then I brine it for several hours.

I've never seen the store sell out of Pepsi, but I've seen them regularly sell out of Coke. Coke has the number 1 selling drink almost worldwide. I even got to taste them all at the Coke museum and see the vault where the formula is stored.

I'm hoping English isn't your first language because it's impossible to understand what you're attempting to get across. The 2 largest lynchings were of Italian Americans and American Indians. This maybe shocking to you, but it wasn't just done to black people. Nobody is "taking your children and miseducating" in the US. Nobody "stole your music" either. Again this might be shocking to you, but you don't own cords, mixes, ect. If you really want to go down that road, you stole the instruments to create the music since the piano and guitar (that type of stringed instrument) were created in Europe. Drums have been created by every civilization so it's not attributed to an area. That falls into discovery rather than invention or creation. How about you live a day without using something invented by anyone other than black people and see how that works out. No eating veggies because modern farming methods were created by American Indians. You'll need to wear a cloth because all your clothing is European styled.

Dev, Shortfat Otaku, watched it all. It's far worse than the trailer depicts it. As for the comments, they didn't pay attention to who was saying them. The account that made the comment they highlighted made like 30+ comments like that when I made mine on it. That account alone was the main one making such overt ones. Most of the others were tongue in cheek.

Ahh yes. When you go out to eat and they ask what you want to drink and you say Coke. They reply with "Is Pepsi okay?" You answer "Yes, of course" while screaming No! It's not okay on the inside.
