Wait, so not being popular is a signal there's something deficient with the child and should be a "red flag"? So only the very few popular kids are "normal" which means the majority are screwed up in your thinking. His list definitely is, but his social status is not. You're thinking is no different than this kid and mom. If they aren't like me then they are wrong or bad. They need to be watched and monitored. Thank goodness it wasn't like that when I was growing up or I'd be in the gulag instead of in a longterm successful marriage, raised 2 productive members of society, and increased my financial situation from poor to upper middle class. Since I wasn't popular and therefore obviously screwed up somehow and possibly dangerous because of it. Edit: I wasn't popular because I don't like people and especially didn't like other girls my age because they were crazy. I still don't like people because I'm an introvert and believe it or not, that's okay.
