@SomeCanine What? How dare people do human nature and mainly only want to protect them and theirs! It's not like most people that fight in wars are to protect themselves and their families. It's always been about the mysterious greater good. Never about invading to have more access to resources so your family can be better provided for or protecting those resources so your family can continue to survive. Nope. It's always just about what's best for everybody else.

In the US granting rights and privileges to some and not others is against the Constitution. They were not right because what they wanted would require changing the Constitution which would automatically make them not conservative by US standards. I think that's part of the issue. People don't understand that conservative in the US means conserving and protecting the foundations the country was built on and the top of that is the Constitution and the powers contained within it.

@diamondinmyeye6160 No they don't. They are allowed to search and everything else without a warrant if THEY believe they have just cause. It's got nothing to do with what you believe. Numerous court cases disagree with your opinion. If it's a mistake you deal with it later by many legal means. You don't shot them. Edit: Many people seem to believe the Supreme Court ruling you have the right to defend yourself against police are expanding it far beyond it's very limited scope. It's scope was knockless warrants. Not anything else.

@randomusername5242 Thank you. I saw this claim on another post and I don't know where it's coming from because there's no court case that grants that but lots that affirm police compliance.

A lot of people are claiming to be libertarian that aren't . There are people that call themselves libertarian Socialist and Communist. Clearly not libertarian ideas. They use it intentionally to muddy the waters. Also most aren't Ancap either. Vaush calls himself libertarian. As someone that would fall under libertarian, I'm insulted. It's funny you mention Dave Smith because he's Ancap but understands that's not possible anytime soon. Yes, I do not care what 2 consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home. That does not extend to public places. I think the war on drugs has been a complete failure and resources would be better spent on rehabilitation for addicts. It also spawned the government being able to seize your private property on just the suspicion and doesn't require a conviction which should be horrifying to anyone that claims to care about private property rights. The "conservatives" in the US are responsible for legislation like the Patriot Act which was a huge power grab. Most conservatives approved of it because "if you're not doing anything wrong you have nothing to hide". No I don't want to be a part of that group.
