You don't have some hidden insight about a word that they're now trying to change the definition of after years spent defining it and getting mad when people in interviews couldn't define it. All I'm seeing now is they never had a real definition of the term to begin with. To everyone of these "intellectuals" it means something different. That's not how language works. I've seen people with completely different ideas, different religious beliefs, and different philosophical ideologies called it. They've called right leaning libertarians "woke" which says there is nothing behind except an attempt to gatekeep ideas they don't like. Otherwise they wouldn't just talk to each other about it. They'd have actual debates with the other side which they've all refused to do. That's not very marketplace of ideas of them. If they're afraid other people's ideas will defeat their own in that marketplace then their ideas aren't good enough.

@L_Martin Except he's claiming it's not a pejorative when Lindsey expressly says in his first videos about it that it is and that's how it should be used. To shut them down and and push them out because it already has a negative connotation attached to it. It's hard to take it any other way when the people throwing it around don't even agree on what it is or what it means. Lindsey has even said multiple times the word doesn't really fit, but to use it anyway. All of this is a post hoc rationalization of it's use. Edit: The reason it was used when referring to the left is because that's the word they used to describe themselves.

@kevinmcfarlane2752 I know Lindsey and Konstantin have labeled right leaning libertarians "woke" which is insane. Libertarianism is the furthest thing from authoritarian. It's all about volunteerism. So no, it doesn't mean anything other than we don't like this individual or their influence because they said one thing we don't agree with. Now who's the ones acting and trying to use the tools of the woke left?
