@protoman1214 They probably weren't happy but they like having a job. This would have come from the higher ups. "Just put placeholders for everyone that we think is important". I wonder how many on air guys used the fake awards to prove their value when they interviewed other places.

@michaelmurray6197 Yeah. As on air talent they would have been aware there's a separate category for them and that they'd be notified if nominated. One quote in there was "they've got egos" which tells me they were given them to prevent them being butthurt the people they consider below them won and they didn't.

@darrellgrant7615 The show did win an Emmy. The on air talent didn't because that's a separate category. So other people were winning then them for that category but they still got one.
