@genedesalvo1120 Then they shouldn't be elected and wouldn't be eligible to run anyway because they wouldn't have been able to pass a citizenship test. Only citizens can run for federal office. Blind people can process audibly just fine. Deaf people read lips. He can't even understand when it's written and it's too early to tell the full extent of his brain injury. I'm disabled. There are things I'm not capable of doing and pretending that I can isn't helpful for me or anyone else around me. If I applied for a job that requires me to be able to lift 100 pounds, knowing I can't ever physically do that, I'd rightly be excluded from being hired.

@finbarcynyr4806 Steve Hawkins (correct spelling) didn't have brain damage. He had a disease that affected his muscles. He understood everything said to him or that he read perfectly. Completely different situations. One disability isn't the same as another one.
