It's not an excuse because soldiers are exempt from prosecution for refusing to follow an illegal order. Edit: I hope you edit that or remove it. Equating Vietnam vets to Nazi soldiers is wrong on so many levels. If you were taught that, your teacher should be ashamed. That's just anti US propaganda. It was in most ways for the exact same reason as the Korean War. Not political reasons but to stop the spread of Communism and allow those that didn't wish to live under it that opportunity as a neighboring government had become Communist and was attempting to take over the one that split away from it.

  2. In most cases someone else would take care of it. A member of their staff. A person like that doesn't just hand a personal credit card to a stranger. It would come from a seperate account made to deal with personal purchases that a single accountant or trusted staff member would only have access to. Someone that would stay behind and deal with it after security has removed the person from the area because that's the first concern.

  3. I think a lot don't understand the structure of companies or why they'd have so many useless workers. Any profit you reinvest into your company isn't taxed. So it incentivizes companies to do just that. So because in a company like that you can't build new warehouses, new vehicles, or better machinery, you simply hire more people. This gives the appearance that you need more people because it's so busy to investors so they pour money in. Eventually it'll hit the wall because it's not actually growing like a normal company does and that's easy to hide because there's no physical way to judge because it's all just data. That's why these companies are so bloated and why they appear to keep growing long after they've hit that wall.

  6.  @rubinski878  Everything is a health risk. Why is asthma increasing when nothing has changed and everything is safer and cleaner than ever before? It's because it's too clean. That's why allergies and asthma have increased even though pollution is much better and smoking in public is gone. The increase in those problems aren't happening in very rural farm areas. Not because of ventilation, but because they are exposed to stuff at a very young age and their body learns to deal with what it's exposed to. I would need to see the study they are referring to before I believe it's caused by a stove rather than other contributing factors. Unless they were in a bubble and everything but a gas stove was removed, there's no way to prove it. They aren't saying they aggravate it, they're claiming they cause it. That's a big claim. It's also not just stoves. They want to eliminate all gas lines to private residences.

  7. That's from before this stuff started. Yes I saw it and it was horrific. In the US we really don't have a lot of that. Outside an area in Michigan, Muslim immigrants aren't allowed to create enclaves and seperate themselves from the general population. They're not congregated enough to wield any real power locally or federally. I think since we've always had large amounts of immigration we've got it down pretty good how to force integration. No immigrant is looked at as special or treated with kid gloves. Like everyone else, you sink or swim on your own actions. Nobody's going to give you a place to live, no handouts, nothing. Refugees get a small amount of money for 6 months from the government to settle and get a job. After that, you're on your own. That's because to meet that qualification is difficult and it's usually people fleeing a disaster where they've lost everything. Even then, it's not enough to live comfortably on. It's just at the poverty amount to incentivize them to find a job quickly and get on their own. Europe coddles them. Gives them hotels with everything provided including an allowance to spend on frivolous things. That was the mistake. Edit: Your governments were too worried about making them feel welcome and afraid of being accused of being called names instead. They cringed at the very idea of forced integration and now the citizens pay the price.

The longterm effects on overall health and avoidable deaths will be interesting if they keep up with that following the shutdowns. Since this has all been an experiment (none of this has ever been attempted on this scale befor), they should to help determine if this is the best way to handle future pandemics.

  15. There's a former Muslim woman who Triggernometry did an interview with and explained this mentality isn't as prevalent in the US as it is in Europe. She said it's because in the US we don't coddle our immigrants. It's welcome and good luck! They have to sink or swim on their own. They've got little choice but to integrate at least mostly. Where as in Europe they are just handed everything and tend to remain segregated mostly from the general population so they don't have to integrate to survive. France is an even more different situation. These are Albanians. France took it over to stop the European slave trade. Unlike Britain and the African slave trade, they refused to stop no matter what was done so it was the only way to stop it. They didn't get their freedom from France until fairly recently. So yes some of these people were born while it was still under French control. They never should have taken them in in such large numbers knowing the resentment that was still there. It was far too early in the process to have done that. Edit: That's why he's giving a very specific number of years. That's the number of years Albania was under French rule.

  18. They did an interview with a former Muslim woman, no longer Muslim but still a woman, about why it's so different in Europe than the US. She's from the US and now an atheist. She said it's because the US forces assimilation. We don't coddle them like Europe does their immigrants. In Europe they're given money monthly, have access to all the social benefits, and are given housing. In the US we say " Welcome and good luck!" They're on their own. They either make it or they don't. They aren't eligible for benefits and if they do use them, they're expected to pay them back. That's because they aren't taxpayers and haven't been taxpayers to add to the fund. Then again we've got centuries of experience with high amounts of immigration and Europe doesn't. Not saying it's perfect obviously, but the problem here is different than what you're seeing all over Europe. I believe many Americans were trying to warn these countries when they started taking numbers far higher than they had ever taken. You just simply can't go overnight from hundreds of immigrants a year to 10s if not 100s of thousands and except it to just work itself out.

Or was it the one saying we needed to stop calling them that and instead MAPs so they wouldn’t be so stigmatized. Either would be terrible to listen to. The first one because her study was done on convicts and we know they aren’t a reliable source for study and because her own study determines it was tiny portion of those convicted. The other because it absolutely should be stigmatized. This idea that they haven’t done anything just because they haven’t gotten caught yet is crazy.

  32. Legally Trump couldn't have "f'd up". The court decided in a similar case with Bill Clinton that anything the President removes from the office is automatically declassified. He may have told them that to flatter them, but legally if it wasn't at the White House and he was out of office, it wasn't classified. Everything is labeled classified for the benefit of the President. It's not for the FBI or any other administration. It's for the President that classified documents exist. He or she can declassify it by simply speaking about it to someone else. So either way, once he showed it to a 3rd party it was no longer classified. Edit: Clinton has classified tapes that the archives was trying to get and he refused to hand over. They took him to court in an attempt to get them and that was the court's decision. Obama has digital classified documents on his personal server at home that he removed with him when he left office. The reason they were even able to attempt to bring charges is Biden rescinded Trump's clearance which he doesn't have the authority to do. If you're not a lawyer well versed in this field perhaps refrain from making legal guesses about the validity of charges.

  34. They want to eliminate natural gas to residences period. Not just stoves. It's heating, water heaters, dryers, everything. No way is that going to fly. I'm sick of this war on rural areas. They are trying to systematically remove the ability to live anywhere outside a city. Trying to force electric cars which have a limited range and don't produce enough power to haul anything. Nobody would ever claim Aretha Franklin, Fats Domino, or Chubby Checker, or Aaron Neville were skinny so overweight people have been represented for decades too. RFK has been banned everywhere that the majority of Democrats watch. The party has already said there will be no primary debates. They've already said Joe is running and as the incumbent he's the automatic nominee. If something happens and he can't, it still won't be RFK. They'll pull someone else out of their hat to prop up there, most likely Newsom (which explains his recent countrywide tour). It amazes me how many seem to forget how the party screwed Bernie in 2016. Edit: If Joe runs, most states won't even have a Democrat primary. They'll just automatically go to Joe.   44. I can explain how the MS developed. You have a hereditary gene that predetermins if you're susceptible to autoimmune diseases. Environmental factors turn it on. It's caused by an immune response which is what was triggered by the shot. It has to be a pretty severe reaction too. Not just a simple normal one. Stress can cause them to turn on as well, but that's because we know high levels of stress can cause immune responses as well. That's why people with autoimmune diseases aren't recommended for vaccines. They can create a violent immune response. Especially if there's already organ involvement. I have several and pretty much all organs as well as a couple of glands have been attacked and damaged. I'm not even recommended for a flu shot because I've had life threatening flares before.

  46. This is what I don't understand. They're "protesting" their government about the actions of a completely different government thousands of miles away. I've never seen that before and it's not the purpose of protected protesting. I think it's just a larger indicator of how they don't understand what these rights are for or their limitations. The only large protest my generation did was against globalism and the inclusion of China into the WTO. It was a global protest because we wanted our countries to deny them entry. We absolutely understood what that step would mean for our working future. While technically protesting against another country, it was against our own country's actions. Do these people ever once stop and think how ignorant and against their own proclaimed beliefs it is to expect another country to care what citizens of other countries want them to do? Isn't that so called "colonization"? Demanding other countries of a different culture bow to the beliefs of a stronger, larger culture/country?

  64. You’re comment contradicts itself. “The founders didn’t give us states to be experimental” “The power comes from the states…not the founders”. Since you acknowledge the founders created the states then yes the power of the states comes from the founders who created the Constitution that outlines that power. They created the states, they didn’t “create” the states. The states came together to create a country. The states are so that each person can live under rules and laws they most agree with. The way the power structure was laid out, it was intentionally so change would occur slowly and new ideas could be tried by different states with different ideas, economies, resources, etc. If the new idea worked in most areas, Congress could then decide to add it into federal law. If it worked for some but failed in others, the states it worked for would be able to keep it and the ones it didn’t could reject it. That way every state would be unique and the people could freely move between them to under laws they found more to their liking. It was never supposed to be homogeneous or states imposing laws onto other states. I’d suggest reading the Federalist papers and other writings from the founders to understand their vision instead of deciding what you think they meant. They were pretty clear. Originally your loyalty was to state and then country. It was following the Civil War that a more powerful federal government was pushed and loyalty only to the country.

I'm not going to give specific numbers because obviously I don't go there. However the current enrollment in all college has black females as the highest number with white males as the lowest enrollment numbers. Obviously when it comes to enrollment it was noticable enough that they won a discrimination case.

  69. That measurement can change. A scan one day may have a smaller one than the next day. I got into it with someone trying to be smart like that because they read a study. So I researched it and found that the amygdala size changes constantly. So trying to base someone's political leanings on that has huge flaws and invalidates even the premise of those types of claims.

He's said racism would get better if we stopped talking about it. He's said it's not a race thing but rather a class thing. He grew up along side poor whites in the south and saw them treated exactly the same as blacks. A lot got upset about his racism thing, but he's right. Giving racists a public platform isn't going to fix anything and just keep it stirred up.

How does that help the " worker"? It doesn't, it helps the non workers who get the same benefit. People thinking they'll be able to live off social security has caused people to not save for retirement. They lose their homes, can't pay their bills, and eat cat food to survive because they held a false sense of future security. It's caused families to stop caring for their elderly because they believe the government will. All these things have caused a huge problem of poverty for the elderly, something that was very rare before it was implemented because society cared for them rather than an ineffective bureaucracy. Please prove it's better than before, not just say it is.

  72. The problem is that the media and those in power didn't portray it that way. Every new maybe was put out as fact. Asymptomatic spreaders for example. We were told to wear masks because it was believed asymptomatic could be infectious. We now know that's not the case, yet on the news and when some leaders speak, they point out people not wearing a mask and making them out to be horrible people who don't care about anyone else. The news this morning showed people floating in tubes down a river in San Antonio. Some were in small groups together. The first time it was covered, they were chastising them for not social distancing. Someone must have said something because the next time that story came around, they pointed out those could be groups of family members and they had no way of knowing. It's ridiculous and it's a sign of the times that it's acceptable to run with maybes as facts by media and some in power. My governor never went on lockdown and was slammed by the experts and the media. He asked us to do things, but never required them or instituted fines. We're doing better than almost all other states yet nobody, except Trump, has praised us because they see us as a bad example rather than looking at the data and trying to figure out why it worked.

  73. The founders never wanted the government controlling who's allowed to talk about events which is basically what a press pass is and the access it gives. The very idea that you have to be connected to a "legitimate" news outlet is against the concept of freedom of the press.

  75.  @MicahMicahel  It already was a religion or cult rather. He was the chosen one to fulfill a prophecy. They were trying to recreate mythical race, the Aryans, who had superior intellect and super natural powers like the ability to read minds. Their civilization was destroyed and they fled throughout Europe and intermingled with the population. They believed Germans were direct descendants of that race and if they purged all the impurities from it, they'd bring it all back. The archeological expeditions were to search for proof that Germans were the original race. That's it in a brief summary. Edit: The search for religious artifacts was because they believe all religions were started by people worshipping members of that race so they would be proof and they believed they also held bits of their former power.

  76. I've said since some of this information started coming out not long after they were pushing them, that normally they would qualify for a black box warning. That's a warning put on anything with a significant chance of causing serious side effects and it's only recommended in dire circumstances or if the person doesn't fit the specific qualifiers that create the risk.

  80. When it comes to the FBI, I cannot stress enough that everyone watch stuff from Helen Roy about it. She was in it and said they see the people as the enemy now. She doesn't think it's salvageable and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. She can't get into specifics obviously, but she's not shy about what it's become.

  81. The idea that the left was for free speech isn't correct. I was alive in the 80s. It was the "liberals" that held Senate hearings about censoring music. They controlled the PMRC that put stickers and age restrictions on everything. For some reason this is remembered as the right doing all the censorship and that's just not true. On a very local level, a bit sure. It was the liberals trying to do it on a national level. Because it's been associated with Christianity and people seem to forget Christians are on both sides of the political aisle, it gets talked about as strictly a right wing thing.

  83. Does she think if the CEO is off sick, nobody works? Each airport is going to have someone as their boss. What plane to inspect or check isn't delegated out of DC. It's done by people on the ground who have a list of protocols that were created by those heads. That's what they do. They don't oversee day to day operations.

  84. He's like the Biden of Governors. He finally got elected after multiple attempts. While he avoided harsh lockdowns and insisting the jab, he's pretty much useless. He knows the legislature will just veto anything he doesn't sign so he doesn't bother, but makes his own opinion known like in not allowing blockers for children.
