They did an interview with a former Muslim woman, no longer Muslim but still a woman, about why it's so different in Europe than the US. She's from the US and now an atheist. She said it's because the US forces assimilation. We don't coddle them like Europe does their immigrants. In Europe they're given money monthly, have access to all the social benefits, and are given housing. In the US we say " Welcome and good luck!" They're on their own. They either make it or they don't. They aren't eligible for benefits and if they do use them, they're expected to pay them back. That's because they aren't taxpayers and haven't been taxpayers to add to the fund. Then again we've got centuries of experience with high amounts of immigration and Europe doesn't. Not saying it's perfect obviously, but the problem here is different than what you're seeing all over Europe. I believe many Americans were trying to warn these countries when they started taking numbers far higher than they had ever taken. You just simply can't go overnight from hundreds of immigrants a year to 10s if not 100s of thousands and except it to just work itself out.

@robertmartin5561 I see comments like this and they simply tell me you're uninformed. It's not Mexicans flooding across the border. It's Venezuelans and other south American countries, people from African countries, Arabs, and even Russians. Stop blaming Mexicans. There are plenty of videos of people asking them where they're from and not a single one says Mexico.
