That a person convicted of selling drugs (a nonviolent crime) can't own a gun, but someone that the police are at their house almost weekly for domestic violence (a violent crime) can? Those laws? How about all the laws that protect women from stalkers? Oh that's right, there isn't any until he/she actually harms them in some way. I'm a huge supporter of the 2nd amendment, but I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the population believe not everyone should have unfettered access to guns. I have no issue with red flag laws if done appropriately, in a court and it not just be a person calls and says they're a danger. It should be proven by a set of standards in a court of law where it's subject to appeal. That's how we handle the majority of limitations we set on rights.
