I don't know where you got that idea, but it's completely false. Me and my husband will retire as multimillionaires. We didn't take anything from anyone to get it except his salary. We saved and sacrificed to put money into our 401k. If you're reasoning is you purchasing products gives money to others, nobody is forcing you to buy them and you received an item of value for that exchange. Nobody took anything. That item is also wealth, just in a different form. Nobody owes you crap and trying to act like I stole something from you just because we took risks and chances to improve our situation is pure cope.

  14. The reason you're seeing Unions move away from the Democrats is because of regulations. It doesn't matter if a party says they support Unions if they remove those jobs. My husband is a member of IUOE, International Union of Operating Engineers. They haven't supported Democrats since Obama's first term. They mostly represent oil workers. How can a party claim to support Unions while vowing to put the members out of work? Same with police and fireman Unions. They run on defunding police and drastically reducing policemen, why would they support that? Teamsters represent a lot of drivers and warehouse workers. Regulations are hurting them. Supporting a party just for saying they like Unions is only good for the higher ups. The leaders that are working for their members care about a party taking away jobs more. Edit: The problem with the Teamsters is they represent too many different types of jobs. They represent Postal workers, teachers, railway workers, drivers, warehouse workers, etc. These workers are going to have conflicting needs. It honestly makes them an ineffective Union at higher levels because it's impossible to represent the best interest of all of them.
