  1. I don't get him saying he's seen nothing like it. It wasn't even a hurricane by the time it made landfall. It was less destructive than when my area got caught in the outer bands of a hurricane that traveled up the Mississippi river.

  2. Like the massive snow that hit the south that occurs about every 100 years. If something occurs that rarely, most people will only experience it once in a lifetime. It's funny how we understand that about Hailey's comet but can't seem to when it comes to weather events.

  3. Most geologists aren't funded by these grants so they speak the truth. They've studied the Earth's history more than any other field and figured out that ice ages occur regularly. I always tell people to look at what they're saying rather than climate scientists who make these models using the most extreme variables. Even most of them don't believe what the government and media is pushing and have started pushing back. When they've blamed hurricanes on it, the scientists will explain it's not and weather events have gone down instead of increased.

  5. That's not how debate works and yes he won the exchange because he brought facts and they only had talking points. TMZ in particular isn't a political channel so yes he most likely did get some viewers to do some searches and inform themselves. That's the purpose of a debate. It's not to convince the other person or people. It's to inform the audience with facts they can look into. Edit: In formal debates no side concedes to the other side. Both sides present their arguments and the side with the most convincing arguments and facts is declared the winner. The first person that attacks their opponent personally, automatically loses.

  8. No candidate would say they will. It's stupid to say you would be in the middle of a Presidential campaign. It would be like if you're interviewed before an important race and say you hope you get 2nd place.
