He's not disabled. We have Congressional members in wheelchairs and missing limbs. That's disabled. He dressed like that everyday he's held any office before the stroke so it's got nothing to do with that. He simply doesn't want to. He could even go to Goodwill if he's just cheap and get something. He doesn't have to wear a jacket either. Just slacks, a button up shirt, and a tie.

You don't know our history. We've had duels and canes broken over heads in the early days. That's extremely tame.

She's the one who kept pushing him to keep campaigning. He rushed his recovery and didn't do proper rehab, which takes a very long time, because he wouldn't have been voted in. That's not love or commitment.

The reason he had to "vote from the door" is because the Freedom caucus calls for a visible vote. They did that because since the pandemic they were allowed to vote by phone so the floor was empty while they all attended fund raisers and fancy lunches instead of doing their job. He was dressed like that because he didn't think he'd be called onto the floor and had to rush there, not because he's not capable.

Was he a Chief? If not then that's not a "customary headdress". Those are only worn in an official tribal capacity or religious ceremony by the Chief. Neither would be the case on the floor of Congress because he's representing his state and it's not a religious ceremony. It was him complaining because he wanted to be a spectacle. Edit: I don't see the tribal Chiefs walking around Walmart with their headdress on here in Oklahoma so it doesn't belong on floor of Congress. The only exception is when the Chiefs are there representing the tribe, are performing a ceremonial prayer, or if the Cherokee ever get their representative in Congress and it's a Chief.

Did he? Good for him!

@indepthmike5578 And? You're not a US Senator so you not owning a suit is irrelevant.

@Danchambos Yet says if everyone will support Ukraine he'll wear a suit which means he's perfectly capable. He also said he's going to usually wear one. Him having brain damage is an argument for him not being in office due to demished capacity. A President gets removed for it and so should a Senator.

Thank you! Being "bullied" is in the job title. The very idea that everyone you represent is never supposed to complain about your actions is insane.

@tracy2762 He's rich. He grew up rich. He's never had a job outside public office and has always dressed like that. He went to Harvard. Stop making excuses for someone you can't even be bothered to do two seconds worth of research on. "He's poor" and keep doubling down on it like you know him personally. Edit: That's the pay from the government. Look at their net worth after their first couple of years and it's in the millions. That's from "speaking fees" they get paid by lobbyists. It's also because everyone of them invests in the stockmarket and have inside knowledge, because they make the regulations and oversee mergers, to buy and sell for maximum profit.
