  1. They did this several years ago in my home town. Once they kept getting fined for hiring illegals they shut the plant down. I hate to tell these people but if Tyson owns that plant, they will refuse to sell it. The state even tried to seize it because 3 companies wanted to move in and they refused to sell because they do this to manipulate prices. The fallout from it destroyed my town because all the growers lost their income too. It’s still losing population.

  2. They shutdown plants to manipulate prices. They did this in my small hometown to a chicken plant years ago. Even though there were several companies wanting to purchase it, they refused to sell. It’s not about struggling. It’s to manipulate prices.

  3.  @jimlong813 Which is a complete lie. It’s always city folk spouting that mess. I’ve always lived in the country and plenty of college aged kids work the farms. Then again our state and local colleges also have agricultural education and forestry in them. Even a rodeo team. Hell where I am now has horse shoeing schools, but sure Americans don’t do that kind of labor. I’ll tell all huwite people building tires with my son they don’t fill those jobs.
