I think that's why you've seen in recent years this push that everyone on both continents are "Americans." So they can claim they'd "Americans" too so have a right to be here. No you don't. It's funny because Mexicans were pitching a fit a lot of Americans were living in Mexico City because they were working remotely and it was so much cheaper. Saying it shouldn't be allowed and complaining they were driving up housing costs and demanding menus in English.

 @maryqueenofscots5731 They absolutely do in Mexico and many South American countries. Most have very similar laws to the US.

@sendthis9480 Wearing a shirt as a tourist isn't the same thing as protesting in a country you've illegally entered. During the Olympics are people from other countries there not supposed to support their country because someone might get offended? I'm sorry, but that's such a stupid thing to be upset about and not even remotely comparable.

Only 6% don't agree with this. They need to learn that just being loud and stomping your feet doesn't make you the majority.

I have a US and Canadian flag at my house because my husband and 1st born are Canadian. There's nothing wrong with that. Protesting with one, especially against deportations, is completely different.
