@zacharymcmillan2788 That's standard. It was the same for my husband who immigrated from Canada 20+ years ago. He had to a sponsor, we had to go through interviews to prove we were married even though we had 1 child already and I was pregnant, all vaccinations, medical approval, chest x-ray, full background check, and we couldn't use any social services for 10 years. He had to notify immigration everytime he changed jobs and if he lost one it was reported to them by the employer.

Same. They shut our chicken plant down due to all the fines. It's been weird not seeing or hearing about businesses being raided for illegals.

@SpiritGirlSF Nobody here promised them anything. Since it legally meets the definition of an invasion, no, nobody welcomes an invasion and citizens tend to be hostile to invaders.

@RealTechZen This is Chicago. It's been Democrat controlled for decades. Nobody needs to worry about that there because if it's got a D next to the name they vote for it.

@edwardsaucedo9223 He didn't turn his back. He was pro sanctuary city, pro open borders when they voted for them. One of them clearly said they love immigrants, they just need to find a different place instead of the center.
