  2. It would be funny if Zelensky takes this deal after complaining the previous one with France and Germany involved wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Exactly how does France and the UK intend to enforce it? Neither one is a military might anymore.

  5. Not originally in WWII. They only joined this side after Germany invaded them. Before that they were happily allied with Germany and helping them invade. They split Poland between them. They also weren't very active in WWI because civil war broke out in Russia and they then became the USSR.

  10. I don't think he understands the US population is not willing to go to war with Russia. That was one of the main things that lost Hillary the election. Saying pretty much point blank she was going to go to war with Russia. I think he gets all this admiration on social media, the MSM, and a few people cheering him when he goes to other countries and thinks that's how the majority of the population feels. It never occurred to him the US population doesn't have this unyeilding hatred of Russia and Putin. That's why he did what he did in front of the cameras. He thought it would corner Trump to accept his demands to save face with voters, but he didn't understand the current feelings in the US about war.

  14. Ukraine doesn't meet the qualifications to join NATO. They were supposed to be working on that. The USSR putting missiles in Cuba was a response to Kennedy putting missiles near the USSR. That was Kennedy's fault to start with.

  15. Let me guess. We're naive because we don't believe for 1 second Russia is a serious threat to us. It's not. If we avoided war multiple times during the Cold War, I'm pretty positive we can now. The only people being naive are European leaders thinking they can somehow shame us into doing something the people voted against. We're not the world's police and we're sick of our tax dollars funding forever wars. European countries need to learn to take care of themselves because the US won't be here forever. We've got our own problems to worry about without being dragged around by Europe like their dog on a leash.

  16. They're not our ally. They've never been our ally. Until the uprising overthrew the elected president in 2014, Ukraine was under Russia's sphere of influence. Not Europe's and not the US. Europe was trying to lure it away and eventually join the EU. That's what kicked all this off.

  18. They took over Poland multiple times. They controlled countries that surrounded the USSR. They just used them as buffer states. That's why they were called satellite countries. The governments were puppets of the USSR. When the USSR fell apart, why do you think so many countries broke apart from it? Because they were countries the USSR had taken over.
