No they wouldn't. It was taxation without representation. Not taxes. I see this often and it's a complete misunderstanding of the Founders and why they did what they did. I'd suggest reading the letter of their list of complaints to the King. Attempting to disarm them was the last straw. Edit: The first time a colonist threatened the King's men was a lumber mill owner. The King had his men stamp ALL the good trees with his seal meaning the colonists couldn't use them. That meant the man couldn't mill them and sell them making his work pointless and putting him out of business. He was so upset he drew his weapon and ran them off. This was barely into the 1700s so the grievances go far back.

That's not what causes inflation. It doesn't matter who the money goes to. It's a huge influx of newly created currency being put into circulation. Just like everything else, the more there is available the less it's worth. It lowered the value of the dollar. Prices didn't really increase. It just now takes more to equal the same amount reducing your purchasing power. Accumulated the value of a single dollar has decreased by more than 20%. That what the inflation rate is actually measuring. The percentage your dollar has lost in value. Edit: I don't want people being angry at corporations for something they're not responsible for. Be angry at the government because they're the only ones that can cause inflation. We used to understand this. Now it's all just turned into finger pointing at everyone else. Put the anger where it belongs.

@thaddeusmarcuscheeleyjr.786 We didn't get involved because the people didn't want to. After the Great War, the US didn't want to get drawn into another European conflict. We were not a superpower at that time. Britain held that role. The cause of the Great War was stupid and US citizens saw the new conflict as no different. The atrocities that were occurring weren't public knowledge either. While there were rumors, until the first camp was freed there was no proof.

I'd say Korean War. All those people would now be under North Korea's rule and Korea has been a good trading partner and ally in the region.

Yes capitalism is so bad it's the only system that allows mass upwards class movement. Like the majority of poor people move into the middle class at some point in their lives. Verses what? A system where everyone is equally in poverty minus those in power which is pretty much every other system. There's a reason capitalist countries produce more millionaires a year than any other system. You only think it's bad because you're jealous. I know you think it is, but wealth isn't a limited resource. Someone having it doesn't prevent anybody else from obtaining it.

We're supposed to give the term limits by voting them out of office. If the people in their district or state like them, who are you to decide for them? That's my issue with this idea. You can't scream freedom while removing someone else's freedom of choice. It should be up to each state. Not people that don't live there.
