Every airport has a protocol for disabled passengers. You're supposed to contact the airport the day before your flight. They ask for 24 hr notice. So they can make sure there's someone there for you and a chair is available. If you're disabled you know you have to have extra time to get around. I'm disabled but don't use them because I know other people are worse than me and I'm not going to take resources from someone worse than me. The guys on the driving carts have seen me struggling and stopped to put me on. At her level of "disability" she should be on them since she can clearly walk through security. Also if you require a wheelchair your ticket will indicate that which is why they keep checking her ticket. As a disabled person it's MY job to make sure they are prepared for me. It's not their job to figure out who among the thousands or even millions they see everyday might require something.

@Paulftate Some do, some rent scooters or motorized ones at their destination rather than attempting to travel with theirs. A lot of places that rent them will have them waiting on you when you arrive at your gate. We used to do that for my mother.

@courtneesdad Next time you fly, check the airport's disability section to see what they ask disabled people to do before arrival there. Most ask for 24 hour notice so they can make sure everything is available for you. Especially if you require a pusher. They don't have unlimited people to dedicate to that sp it allows them to move people around if they need to.

@kylethomas3224 I've tried to get stuff tagged as disabled at Disney. They require ID that has disabled on it or some type of proof. I am disabled but didn't have a disabled tag on my car because my mother did and I wasn't allowed to get one.
