I going to make a bet if you look back on that friendship you’ll figure out it was pretty one sided. You always being the one that did stuff for them, but them rarely doing the same. You biting your tongue in certain situations. If someone can end a friendship over something as trivial as politics, they were never truly a friend to being with. Edit: Fortunately for me I got sick years ago and it exposed who were really my friends. Needless to say, I don’t have a lot. Once you become disabled and aren’t able to say yes all the time, it weeds people like that out.

Thank you! And he was right. There were just regular people there trying to preserve history who got painted as being horrible people which was wrong. This black and white thinking is what’s bad. I don’t believe every Biden voter is a communist even though I know some are, but the other side is constantly painting every Trump voter as a racist. Just like they did every person that didn’t vote for Obama. That’s when this started and now they’re shocked there’s division. Edit: I voted for Obama the first time for the same reason I voted Trump in 2016. They had almost the exact same platform. The difference is Obama lied. Somebody needs to square that circle for me at some point. Almost identical platforms and one was amazing and the other a horrible racist. The main difference was Trump was pro gay marriage and Obama wasn’t. So Trump was even a touch farther left.

It started in the colleges. We thought it would stay there and that was a mistake. When you teach kids to be activists instead of how to think for themselves, this is what you get. You’ve had colleges teaching kids to bring on a communist revolution and then are shocked when they start pushing, regular people say no and push back.

We were pretty divided before that event then, BANG, immediately united. Even then we understood we could disagree with each other but if someone from the outside did we’d come together and tell them to F off. Now you’ve got people undermining from the inside talking about starting a communist “revolution”. They get ignored by the government and instead they go after the people trying to protect their kids from bad people. It’s insane.

The yelling started before the summer of love. Before that you had speakers being shouted down on college campuses and attacked. You had just regular people attending a normal political rally being physically assaulted. I’m sick of these people having double standards. Regular people will only take it for so long before they start fighting back, but once they finally do even moderately, they’re the bad guy. If the right acted half as bad as the left the country would be have burned down. As far as school boards go, yes parents are going to be upset when they’re kids are being gr@ped and shown pron at school.
