  1. Sorry, but welcome to what's been going on in southern states for years. We have English as a Second language school programs in elementary to deal with the large number of children that only speak Spanish that's paid for with our tax money. That's been in place at least 20 years and that's in a rural area of Arkansas about 30 miles from the Texas border. You think we can afford that? Welcome to how we've felt for close 30 years.

  5. My father sponsored my husband. It took over a year and we were married with a baby and I was pregnant. There was no question it wasn't a real marriage. You have to guarantee they won't be on public assistance for 10 years and if they are, it has to be paid back. I don't think they understand that legal immigrants also don't care for illegal immigration.

  6.  @LadyMcGinnis  I'm really tired of people blaming governors of border states for not deporting them. They don't have the authority. Immigration and the national border falls directly under the Executive Branch of the Federal government. This is the best that could be done. They can only control their state borders. So continue to send them to places that say they not only want them but support open borders instead of the financial burden only falling on border states and the states that directly surround them. Let them see the reality they could easily deny because it mainly effected poor states. Maybe they'll figure out why those states remain poor.

  7. It's not just Texas. They don't just stay there. There are plenty that flow into the neighboring states, but remember we're racist because we make the true statement that they're a drain on our resources and taxes.

  8. Their healthcare is free anyway because they can't pay the bill so everyone else ends up doing it. You can't legally deny their children a public education. It's been tried. No matter how little the government allows them to get, they're a drain on the public system.
