  4. Yep. I remember he went pretty much with Republicans during the pandemic instead of following other Democrat governors.

  5. If my math is correct that makes now 31 states under total Republican control (majority legislator and governor held by a single party). Edwards wasn't a bad governor for the most part and would be rejected by most Democrats in Washington. I got a feeling the one that lost was much further left than him and given the crime rate going up in some areas like New Orleans not many want that.
