@wendellbabin6457 A lot of lawyers, including New York ones, were expecting a hung jury with there being 1 hold out. So I don't think so. In civil cases you'd be correct, but not criminal. Edit: The judge allowed if 4 voted on one charge and 4 on another that that would be a guilty which isn't how it's ever been.

They've already tanked their economy. New York has the worst growth in the country. I decided to look into all the states' economies because more are people are moving to mine now than during the lockdowns. Come to find out, we're one of the fastest growing economies. New York isn't really doing so when it used to be a powerhouse. Tourism is way down because of the violence. This is only going to hurt them because people will be afraid to do business there now.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if New York is very close this year. I do think immigration is finally on the ballot since these big northern cities have finally gotten a taste of what's been going on down here for years. The people have to send a clear a message that these actions won't be tolerated and the Democrats need to face a sound defeat across the board. Heck, Portland just elected a Republican DA (he switched to Democrat at the tail end of the election to pick up a few more votes to push him over).

Where did anybody say anything about a wealth tax? He didn't donate $300,000 after the verdict because of that. They were talking about illegals, the laws against business, the instability these cases cause.
