@southernparadise9896 Those are different. Those are agricultural workers. Most of them have temporary work visas for the season. I grew up in a rural agricultural area and they'd come through particularly heavily during harvest and then leave. One of our main crops is tomatoes and they are picked by hand rather than machine because they're delicate. Then one year we noticed several just stayed. The next year more stayed. Now the farms are hiring teenagers because they're all working in restaurants instead of the fields which are the jobs the teenagers used to do.

@southernparadise9896 The US is one of only a handful of countries that citizenship is granted for being born here. Most countries it's hereditary only. Your parent must be a citizen. Unfortunately it will take an amendment to change it and that's not ever going to happen.

Only sanctuary cities in the US give them stuff. In the UK it's the federal government. It's so bad, it's difficult for travelers to get hotel rooms because they've all been taken over by the government. They get PS5s,video games, a monthly stipend, free lodging in nice hotels, etc.

@katosushihisa1029 I don't feel sorry for homeless people either. Most of them are that way by choice. They don't want to participate in society and have responsibilities. The only place illegals are being put in hotels is NYC. That's where the mayor decided they'd go after the city included a right to shelter in their sanctuary status. In Chicago he put them in tents by police stations because they also included a right to shelter. The Chicago mayor was just a bit smarter about it than NYC was. Edit: I've worked with the homeless. You figure out real quick most of them are by choice. It's easy to just decide to not participate when you know most of your needs will be met. Real homeless, people that fall into hard times, don't remain on the streets long because of how many programs we have. It's extremely rare for them to be in that situation longer than a year.

Yes. There have been a lot of sub saharan African immigrants coming from Brazil. They've been living there legally for a couple years. They destroy their paperwork right before they approach the southern border. Contrary to what many still believe, these groups are not Mexicans. In the ravines near the border there's tons of destroyed paperwork.

Those may or may not have been illegals though. My son's friend group is mostly Hispanics. None of them were ever illegals. They travel back to visit family in Mexico once a year. In the last few years it's not been from Mexico. Very few come from there. It's from countries in South America, not central America. We accept 1 million immigrants every year. Until around Obama's 2nd term, most of those were Hispanic.
