  8. They can't vote. Why do people seem to be under this insane idea that they're going to be voting? It takes about 10 years to get enough work credits to apply for citizenship. Once you become a citizen, then you can vote. They're counting on them having children that will be voting in 18 years. This is a long haul strategy not an immediate one.
