  2. No they weren't. Being born to a US citizen has already been determined to make you eligible because of Ted Cruz running. If his parents were citizens before his birth there would be no need for him to sue for it.

  4. Not when he was born. They immigrated after he was born and obtained citizenship later. Why else did he cite that court case when it's about barring naturalized citizens from office? Natural born citizen was determined to include those born to a citizen in another country with Ted Cruz.

  5. Ted Cruz was born in Canada. They were both born to a US citizen making them a natural born citizen according to the Constitution. Chunk wasn't. His parents are immigrants and he was born before that occurred. Edit: The two ways to have US citizenship at birth is being born in the country or have a parent that's one. Most other countries it's by being born to a citizen.
