  3. No. We already went through Americans being educated as physicians in 3rd world countries and coming back to practice. It's why no one from them are allowed to practice without going through medical school here now. The UK is having serious competency issues because they let them in based on that. Come to find out, their kids did it all for them. Edit: How about instead, we stop it almost entirely for awhile while we work out a new immigration system.

  4. A committee generally isn't permanent. The JFK assassination committee for example. A committee is a group of people put together to accomplish a specific task. Once that task is done. The committee dissolves. A committee is not a new cabinet position.

  6. Elon has been pretty supportive of Trump. Obviously doesn't consider him a friend, but respected what he was trying to do. The thing with people like Zuckerberg is they can be really intelligent in a single area, but really naive and ignorant in most others. They're also very insulated from the outside world. Musk is basically Thiel just smarter in different areas. They both look at the world in a unique way to everyone else.

  8. Yes because passing a Constitutional Amendment is so much easier than making a committee. Why would a committee of non politicians and that the members gain nothing be corrupt automatically? That's a ridiculous statement. The JFK assassination committee of private citizens wasn't corrupt and found a lot of information the FBI didn't have. The Church commission wasn't corrupt and took to task the FBI. Edit: Any amendment would take years to pass and be ratified. A committee can be formed and done in a single term.

  13. A commission or committee isn't new bureaucracy. As with any such entity, what they're able to do would be incredibly limited to only their single task. Once the task is complete, the entity dissolves. They'd either just recommend removal of redundant or excessive rules, or be granted the power the just remove them. That's it. Nothing beyond that. Once they'd gone over them all removed what was needed, the commission poofs. Is the J6 commission still going? That's an example of a commission or committee.

  15. lol Their electric vehicles are horrible. It's why they're not allowed to be imported pretty much anywhere. They're not ahead of us. Think of your average Amazon purchase from something made in China. It breaks usually within a few months. Why would think anything they make would somehow not be of the same quality? Edit: Elon told you high-speed rail is illegal. We also never bothered because with the introduction of cheap cars, people stopped traveling by rail. Since the railways are privately owned, why would they invest in something with no sign of a return on that investment?
