She "finds out about" these cases from crime podcasts. There are popular ones making these claims about "innocent" people death row. She did the same thing about a case in Oklahoma. The man was shot point blank pulling into his driveway with his child in the car. He shot at the child and her aunt as they ran towards the house. Our stupid governor stayed it. The podcast was making this big deal about DNA testing not being done during the trial. It was done by a group like the innocence project and it had the convicted man's DNA all over it, but they decided not to mention that on the podcast and Kim couldn't bother researching anything. She's gonna be a lawyer though ya'll!
