@perirgensolsson3673 In the public court filings. It's been covered by several news agencies. It's not hard to find.
10
Remember that Obama prosecuted the most whistleblowers in history?
3
It's in the court filings. He even said it on here. They were going to come after his son who'd just become a father. They bankrupted and railroaded Flynn, do you think they would haven't done the same to his son when they were telling him they were going to?
3
What? There is documented proof he knew and was neck deep in it. This is more than they had on Nixon.
3
So Trump can spy on his political opponents using the FBI and undermine the administration that comes after him? Okay then.
1
Because what they did technically isn't illegal thanks to the Patriot act, and that should be the scariest part of all of it.
1
I'm not sure how you don't see how bad this is. It opens the door to this being the norm. The administration in power using the intelligence agencies to undermine and sabotage the incoming one should never be acceptable. That's not getting into using the Patriot act to spy on political rivals.
1
See I'd like to take you seriously, but as an independent (the majority of voters) you're intentional slurs and inability to recognize the truth; even when supplied with texts, emails, memos, notes, and recordings, makes that impossible. I'll ask you like the others: So it's going to perfectly fine when Trump spies on his political opponents and undermines the incoming administration if he loses? If you're answer is no, then you're the problem.
1
Dear lord. There is a court case that's public record that details all of this with evidence. Texts, emails, memos, notes, etc. There has been testimony in Congress by some involved that this happened and is true. If you're waiting for Obama or Biden to admit it, you'll die old still waiting.
1
Seriously? Did you not keep up with the number of new military engagements we got involved with and the ones he ramped up? It was disturbing.
1
@ikekamalu6175 In the court filings. I guess you don't believe texts, emails, memos, and notes like this one. It's public record and has been covered by many news agencies.
1
@dar-wv4pr So did the Memphis boys, but they still didn't do it and there was never any evidence they did.
1
Trump didn't use the intelligence agencies to spy of political opponents or use them to create a fake case to put someone in prison that began a 3 year investigation based off that faked information. How can you play party politics about something like this? If you think it was justified, then don't complain when Republicans do it since it's totally okay.
1
He took a plea deal. It's now in public record in the court filings that have overturned his guilty plea. All the evidence you could dream of. Texts, emails, memos, notes like that one, etc.
1
You mean like Bill who'd gotten $250,000 from the Russians for a speech while Hillary was saying he was going to be the economic adviser? Cuts both ways.
1
That's a good thing. Political sides don't belong in real journalism.
1
Yeah, that's not how freedom works.
1
What? So it's fine if Trump uses the intelligence agencies to spy on political opponents and undermine the incoming administration if he loses? That's what you're advocating for.
1
It should. This is why the Patriot act was never a good idea. Many of us saw this potential from the start. It's upsetting it was used like this at the first opportunity.
1
I'm not comparing it to any other administration. I don't need to compare things to know if something is wrong or bad. Anyone that does is just attempting to justify someone they like doing something bad.
1
This note was just released yesterday.
1
Ding ding ding! You win the prize of having intelligence.
1
The Logan Act has never been used. Talking with foreign governments is common for incoming administrations. In fact, it's normal. That's part of the transition. Transition doesn't actually happen overnight like they make it look. That would result in chaos. Pretty much every intelligence official involved has come clean on this and that he didn't violate anything or lie.
1
He was good on foreign policy, but was pretty craptastic on domestic. That's why he's been the go to guy for foreign negotiations when we get in a pickle, but was a single term President. My mom worked for him when he was Governor of Georgia.
1
It's not a theory. It's proof is in court filings in the overturning of the case. Several lawyers on YouTube have taken up the language so people can understand it.
1
@retroactivehistory It's in the court filings and evidence. There a few lawyers explaining all the legal jargon.
1
I actually agree. I doubt at this point he can tell you what he ate for breakfast. The debates will be...interesting.
1
Trump did do prison reform at the federal level, which is all Biden could do either. They both agree that Trump had obviously tried, but the industrial complex has been hard to push back against.
1
The evidence released in the new cases shows he didn't lie. It's normal for incoming cabinet members to make contact before the transition date. That isn't new. FBI agents involved have come clean and said Flynn did nothing wrong. Plus false information was used to unmask him in the spying they did. That means he never should have been unmasked and there never should have been an investigation. Especially since it had already been closed due to lack of finding anything.
1
That's illegal. This is a prime example of why all that paper has to be saved.
1
No. They were spying on Republican candidates during the primaries including Ted Cruz per testimony in Congress. The investigation started by Comey was based off this information that he knew first hand was false and faked because he helped do it. He absolutely should have been fired. This clearly shows why Obama didn't do it after his Hillary news conference. They intentionally undermined the incoming administration. That should never be okay no matter what side of the political aisle you're on.
1
If they could use Russiagate why not Obamagate since it's 100% clear now he was involved?
1
This isn't about Trump. This is about the intelligence agencies being weaponized against a political opponent. So when Trump does it since it's fine to do, will you still think the same?
1
Those are evidence in the case to overturn his guilty plea. It was gotten because the defense has the right to all that information. It's public record now. This one note isn't all of it. There's hundreds of pages.
1
How is a note given as evidence in court fake news?
1
As opposed to Russiagate?
1
Me too. I'm independent and this is frightening. It shouldn't matter the party side to see how troubling this is.
