@jonathandevereaux298 That's disputed. It's well documented that the mind will go to incredible lengths to protect itself from trauma until the person is able to deal with it. The idea that it would go so far as to create an entirely different person isn't really that far fetched. Creating a large number of them? Extremely doubtful. What is being shown on that app? Absolutely not. There's no trigger that's causing the other one to protect the mind. Whether it's a flashback or a real perceived threat. So no, these are make believe. Most likely they are just flushing out different aspects of their personality. Trying to see who they really want to be. Which is more acceptable to others and that type of thing. Edit: Other than taking up the time of psychologists, doubtful it will cause longterm issues.
