The ego of these teachers is just amazing. They really think they are every student's favorite teacher and that the kids in their class will protect them. My kids liked 3 of their teachers their entire public school life and none of them were like this. In fact, one of their favorite history teachers taught that black people have played an important roll in this country since it's founding. That they were leaders in the military, were land owners with slaves themselves, and like all landowners allowed to vote. That they were so much more than just slaves, you know, the truth.

Honestly, yes that's what she'll be taught if she is unfortunate enough to get a teacher that pushes this ideology. They'll tell her that your relationship is toxic because you're being abused by someone with more power than you and her. She may or may not tell you because secrecy is a big part of this. They are inserting themselves between you and your child as the true authority figure. The only person that will be honest with them. This is the same tactic used by a certain someone in Germany.

@ultrazappy7815 Then point out the legislation so it can be changed. Nobody can. It doesn't even meet the definition of a theory because it's not based on anything concrete. It shouldn't be taught at all and certainly not as fact which it is. It took Critical Theory, which is based on Marxism and Freud, and added race because that's what is the weakest point in the US. No where in the world is Critical Theory taught as fact and if it is taught, it's with clear understanding of where it comes from. Just like the 1619 Project isn't based on but a single historical fact yet they are trying to teach it as the truth even though the author has said it's fiction, they are trying to teach that CRT is 100% how it is and that's simply false. Edit: How can you look at that poster, created by Krenshaw the mother of CRT, and take this theory as fact?

I'm Native. We still live there. I don't know who taught you that complete BS, but we're not extinct. That area was already controlled by France and Spain. We bought it from France and won the rest in the Spanish American War. I don't know how much you know about how Spain treated Natives, but I'd suggest giving it a look. Manifest destiny had to do with the entire continent. The US doesn't want, nor is it trying, to take over Canada or Central America. If we wanted Central America, we could have taken it during the Spanish American War. Also you should know that Natives have fought beside white Americans in every single war. Take your decisive crap somewhere else because the majority of Natives aren't interested. Edit: This whole stolen land stuff is extremely insulting just so you know. We fought and lost in most cases and signed treaties. Those treaties were violated and that's the only land that we consider "stolen". Those are and have been settled in court. Saying anything else was stolen is insulting because you're calling my ancestors cowards and stupid. They were neither.
