@ohsweetmystery That’s not true. Seats and planes have gotten smaller over the years. You can tell by old photos and how much they could put on the tray tables when they fed them. It was 3 courses and a drink usually. Airlines have been contemplating standing “seats” for the last few years so they could cram more in.

@Just Ask Questions Or they can pay for 2 seats since they’re consuming twice as much fuel as a normal sized person. Instead my ticket price goes up so I get to pay for it.

Best flying experience was when I was flying with my 2 month old to go visit my parents so they could meet him. It was Delta and the check in counter blocked an entire row so I could lay him down and have room to change him. Worst was a flight to Orlando a few years ago. I have pain issues due to Lupus. This kid behind me was kicking my seat nonstop. The father just ignoring it. Finally my husband had enough and told him to pay attention to his kid. I was in so much pain by the time we landed I had to get on a ride on.
