  1.  @silverletter4551  Not when it came to adult topics. Children weren't consulted in family decisions or even allowed personal decisions. Working the farm and doing chores are not the same thing as making decisions.

  2.  @darunealbane  Exactly. The vast majority will not end up being trans at all. This has been documented already. Of children that think they are only a tiny fraction ever go on to transition. The viewpoint of those pushing this say, then they just stop taking the blockers no harm no foul. The problem is we just set them back physically and mentally because hormones are key to brain, bone, and organ development. So yes there is harm.

  3. As someone with a son that would classify and has been diagnosed with dysmorphia, it's definitely more "born" that way for the true ones. I'll also argue that there's likely a hereditary factor as well since I'm anorexic which is another form of it. He is not recommended for transition because I never treated him like he was different or special and raised both my boys to be confident in who they are and their abilities. He's too comfortable in his own skin to need to change his outside to feel better about himself. He still goes by being male. He does cross dress on occasion, usually at comic or anime conventions, and that seems to be enough for him. That's the only place he does it in public. When he was young he did gravitate to somethings that were more female like he wanted a pink Carebear castle and would choose pink glittery flashing guns. He was different enough that he convinced my father just by being himself, you're born gay or transgender. Edit: He did have a lot of his friends trying to pressure him into being full on transwoman and going for surgery. Fortunately he knew that wasn't for him because he admitted he didn't feel like he needed that. He also 100% disagrees with all this craziness going on right now as do most transgender people.
