@anthonyesposito7 Pretty much all Communists complain that capitalism forces them to work to meet their basic needs. They fail to understand that meeting those basic needs like food to eat requires labor. In other words, survival has always required labor. It's just that capitalism let's them decide what type of labor they'll perform for their basic needs rather than relying on their ability to grow food or build a house themselves. Survival requires you to perform labor no matter the system.

No. It's because the US had the most mobility between classes. As long as the majority believe they can move up, they're not going to get upset enough to rebel on a large scale due to the class structure. Our class system is based on money and goods. Most other countries it's based on what class you're born into so people are trapped in it regardless of what they do. Edit: For example a person can be poor and in the upper class in the UK because they're born from nobility. The only way to reach the upper class is to be given title. So no matter how well off you are, you'll never reach the top because nobility has another hierarchy. That isn't true of every country, but they all had barriers to reaching the next class that wasn't based on anything in your control. I don't know where you're getting the clergy part from because most clergy weren't in any class. They were outside the class structure of any particular country.

That is correct. It's because people work to better not just themselves, but their family's position. Because that's how the majority of humans work, we end up benefiting each other since we're all unintentionally working towards ultimately the same goal.

How is that different than saying something like if we could just solve grape, murder, and theft, and everything would be great? It wouldn't get rid of people that want Communism because that's the assumption that the only reason anyone has more than someone else is because they're corrupt. Communism at its core is jealousy. Not even that that person is jealous of what others have, but jealousy on behalf of others. That's why they don't talk about corruption. They talk about exploitation. Because they see anyone that owns anything as having gotten it at the expense of someone else. They view goods as post scarcity and wealth as a pie that some people take a larger piece from when it's the opposite.

What do those things power? They're worthless if there's nothing they can increase the production of. So no. Private companies building manufacturing is what lifted them out of poverty.

@anthonyesposito7 Then why does productivity decline under Communism? Vietnam is a prime example. They even reached the 3rd stage. They could no longer produce enough rice to feed the population. So they abandoned it and tried again because they thought there had to have been a mistake somewhere. They did it again with the same result. When humans aren't rewarded for working hard, they simply don't. While there are absolutely people in capitalist systems that don't work hard, the ones that do because they want the higher reward, increase the productivity that everyone benefits from. You benefit because more items are produced that increases the supply making that item available to more people.

It's responsibility and risk. A worker gets paid no matter if the owner makes money or not. It's the owner who faces bankruptcy and losing everything. They also fail to understand private property rights includes their body.
