@John-pk8lr That's not the same. They're highlighting Poland as an example of how to secure the border. These people aren't highlighting Russia as an example of a change they want. They're using Russia to say it's not as bad as there so don't complain. A better example would be if they pointed to the UK and the boats and say they've got it as bad or worse so why are you complaining. Edit: There's also the issue that the border is being dealt with by a temporary solution that can change and did depending on who's president. This false idea you have that just because it's currently being dealt with means it won't become a problem again is delusional. It's perfectly fine for people to want a lasting solution to a 20+ year serious issue. Heck, longer than that. It's been an issue since the massive change in immigration from the Immigration Act in the 60s. It was a huge issue in the 80s. That Act needs to be changed or this will only continue.

@HenryDorsettCase Nationalism definition: identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, even to the exclusion of the interests of other nations. (Why wouldn't a country put it's people first? Isn't that the point of government? To protect and serve the citizens, not a different country?) Basically, loving your country and putting its needs and the citizens' needs first. Patriotism definition: the quality of being devoted to and vigorous support of one's country. Basically, it is a feeling of love and devotion to a country or state. They're pretty much the same. Just nationalism is like a tier above patriotism. I can explain why we use patriotism when we really mean nationalism. Nationalism is one of those naughty words because of the Nationalist Socialist Germans. Neither has anything to do with support for the government, but both are devotion and support of the country.

I will tell a Commie if they don't like it here they can move to a communist country. That's not the same as this gentleman who's saying if you disagree with the government, leave. I wondered if they'd tell the Russians they seemed so concerned about that. They can alway just leave Russia. Or would they instead encourage them to change the system? My money's on the latter.

Is this you're first time seeing a crowd of Boomers in the wild? People have to remember it's a very left leaning group. They're who engaged in all the insane protests people try to recreate today. They were against things like the Vietnam War. What people don't remember or never knew was the news was showing them daily why they should be. It's no wonder they still tow the media narrative. They were never the rebels they thought themselves to be.
