@microplasticsinurblud I don't think he is. He just doesn't want to lose what he believes to be true. It can be extremely difficult for people. Especially if they're set in their view hard and aren't open to new information.

@californiadreamer2580 That would put when he made it the 80s or early 90s. There was a runaway epidemic at the time. I know a lot of those kids ended up on the streets as prostitutes. But since he did it only on strippers, he wouldn't have run into those kids. Even if he did, they likely wouldn't tell him the full story because by running away they'd have felt responsible for their situation. There certainly wasn't the public attention on that part of it at the time.

Unlike others, I feel sorry for him. You're going to need to introduce solid evidence. He's resisting his understanding of the world he believed existed not being real. The sheriff in Florida arresting traffikers, my state of Oklahoma is a good one. Thousands of illegal grows from Chinese with them using trafficked Chinese people. They lock them in the grow houses in tiny rooms. No bathroom, no kitchen, nothing, and that's where they live. The conditions are horrific. There's a show by Lisa Ling that goes over it and covers the border and cartels. There's also National Geographic's Trafficked by Mariana van Zeller. Though I don't know if she covers the US part or just global. Good places to start as well as stories from survivers, but I don't think individual stories will work because he could just say that's a single case not suggesting a larger problem.

Tell him to watch the sheriff in Florida who arrests hundred+ every month. The number of PDF files in the general population is around 9%.

All of that is denying it's happening in the US. Edit: The most recent statistic is over 300,000 children that crossed the border under Biden have gone missing. Pretty sure everyone knows where most of them ended up. The caravans that head through Mexico toward the border, there will be missing children posters following them. People kidnap them because they know it's easier to cross if you have a child with you. The cartels use those children as mules and they're handed to them once they get across as payment or to get money to start their new life. I live not far from the border. It's horrible and it needs to be stopped.

@AnthonyRMaradin The topic is stopping the flood across the border. It's the very first thing in the video. That leads to the drugs and people being trafficked across it. He focuses on the children which leads to the movie. Have you never held a conversation before? They flow to connected topics. It's not a debate. It's a conversation.
