@flugsven No. If you have a good enough infection to produce antibodies, there is no evidence of reinfection. They thought there were two cases, but they were not. The first one wasn't COVID the second time (it was a false positive) and the other one was an extremely mild case the first time and did not develop antibodies. Current studies suggest immunity will be life long just like SARS 1 because they are only slightly different. Those with antibodies already are also experiencing worse side effects when they take the vaccine. Keep up, you're siting things that happened months ago and have since been proven different. The idea of boosters is only pretty much only coming from pharmaceutical companies because they already made them. Neither the CDC or the WHO are recommending even thinking about them right now. You clearly get your information from talking heads on TV rather than scientists conducting these studies worldwide. You can feel free to trust them all you like, I will listen to people involved in the research and doctors that still treat patients. If I listened to Fauci I'd have panicked and taken the vaccine before speaking to my specialists who all have told me not to because I can't take ANY vaccine. They keep up with the studies and since I already had it, have antibodies, and it was extremely mild don't think it's worth the risk to my health to take it. So I'm not jeopardizing my health to make you feel more comfortable.

@flugsven You do realize the variants aren't from the US right? The newest one that's shown up is in Brazil and Delta is from India. B was from Italy and the UK had another one. So why are you blaming people in the US for the variants? There has been no major variant from here that's taken hold. You're basically freaking out on people that aren't vaccinated for creating variants that didn't come from here. In fact, before the Delta variant all indicators said we were pretty much at herd immunity. If we were basically at herd immunity for the previous variant, then it can't be just the unvaccinated causing the spike from Delta. Especially when you factor in the unvaccinated that had the virus making them already immune. I'll also point out that we don't even know if total herd immunity is even possible with this particular virus.
