@KillerPunchLine Then you don't know juries. Children in the car with the full video would be an acquittal. Each juror will try to put themselves in her position. It's the DAs job to convince them she did something wrong and that burden won't be met. The DA will try to bargain for a lesser crime.

That's not the law in Arkansas. In fact, if I see an officer in trouble I'm required to draw my weapon and assist. No law says I have to fire it. There are even laws in some states that only allow discharging the weapon as a last resort when retreat is no longer possible.
