  1. Reduced consumption decreases prices. Less demand, more supply, lower cost. More demand creates a lower supply and drives up prices. Prices are high because the future of oil doesn't look like supply will meet demand coupled with 8% reduction of supply from Russia due to sanctions. How about you understand how things work before you complain. Edit: No where that anyone in my house works has management working from home. You can't manage people if you're not around them. The majority of people don't work for a tech company.

  2. My son makes more than that and he's 23. He works on the floor of a manufacturing plant. Obviously he doesn't get all the perks. He also lives where the cost of living is probably close to half of hers. My husband makes close to $40 at an oil refinery. $24 isn't great in Chicago, though probably better than that wage in California. The perks have been known about in big tech companies since Google first built their insane headquarters.
