@TaxMan1776 Yes it is. In tech companies they create a bunch of meaningless jobs so they can claim on taxes that they're reinvesting in the company for tax write offs. It's cheaper to increase the salary cost by a couple million than pay tens or hundreds of millions in taxes.

@hybridh9702 It's not the " fanbase". It's things that have come from Twitter workers own mouths. That they were allowed off for extended periods, were allowed to only work a few hours a week, etc. Given it took two+ years to create an edit button, it's clear they didn't have real deadlines. In fact employees have said the programming is old and hasn't been updated in a decade or more. In the All Hands Call with Elon before he purchased it, they were showing pictures of wine bottles that they'd be drinking during it. Then there's the "Day in the life of a Twitter Employee" videos. If they don't want people thinking that kind of stuff, they shouldn't put it out there.
