@dangerouszio Europeans have their own race issues they should deal with. Roma/Gypsies are far more oppressed there than any minority here. My husband is one and I'm honestly freighted for my sons to travel there.

I'm pretty sure all this stuff was going on under him. Trayvon could have been his son. There's also a resurgence of a speech where he's calling rioters thugs.

@Nicholas Olesen To some degree you are correct, but most of the time it's not actually based on race. It's based on class. There are no laws now on the books that are racist against blacks. There are on Natives, but that's not the topic. That doesn't mean racist things and policies don't exist either, but to be systematic it would be country wide, and that's not the case. They are few and far between. Just like stop and frisk. It was a racist policy in one place so wasn't systematic because it didn't exist in the entire system. That racist policy didn't affect any black outside NYC so it wasn't system wide. I think a lot of the problem is people don't understand what systematic really is. Something can just be racist without being systematic. Just like Civil Rights. People have this belief that racism was only in the south and the north was some bastion of equality. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Jim Crow laws were in the midwest and other areas too. In the north east it was accomplished with zoning laws and things like that but had the same effect. That's why it was systematic racism. It was present in all systems.

I'm pretty sure all those white kids aren't from those neighborhoods. They are dressed way too nice to be poor either. When you're dealing with crowds this large it doesn't take but a couple of people to get most of them worked up. It's why you see places get trashed when a concert gets canceled. I'd say a sporting event, but that's usually because they're drunk.
