@Jinxed Swashbuckler No one they have done anything to is “mine”. If they come for me and mine I will defend with deadly force and gladly pay any price for doing so. Just because someone might look like me, doesn’t make them “mine”. They aren’t my property.

@growhuntkillcaneat You mean the German immigrants that couldn’t speak English and the drunks that didn’t know what they were signing? That’s who fought in 1776. Only a very small number of the English colonists fought. Even then it was mostly the poor and many former indentured servants. On my grandfather’s side, it was his German immigrant ancestors that fought. On my grandmother’s side, it was her English former indentured servants. That’s who fought and died, not the general public.
