  1. The other plants are already running at full capacity and said it would take a month to make up the difference in supply. So this act does nothing. He could have been flying formula in from other countries long before now or at least suspended the ban on imports of them from Europe. He did when he did because the issue is about to be resolved and he can take credit for something he didn't really do.

  2. While you understand that everything is from the human perspective, you fail to address it when it comes to climate change. You talk about extinction events, without putting them in the context of the bigger picture. Things have always gone extinct. What's being done in the name of environmentalism is to try to lock the Earth into what is essentially a snap shot of time for it because humans believe it's the best thing for the Earth. Ignoring that the most stable time in the Earth's history was during dinosaurs when the Earth was pretty stable for millions of years. We're currently attempting to manipulate the Earth to stay exactly how it is right now because we believe it's in our best interest. Not acknowledging that we can adapt and live fine in hotter temperatures with the advances we currently have and we'll create new ones as it progresses. Whenever humans try to control nature, it rarely ends well in the long run.
