I got similar reactions when I was calling this out under Obama. "It'll be worse under Trump!" was the usual leftist response. I figured out then, none of them actually give a shit about these people. They are just political tools. I have no issue separating children to make sure they are not being trafficked. Especially after the UN report showed Obama had 2500 children trafficked across the border in 2 years, that we know of. Their safety should be priority #1. That includes sending them back to their families and splitting their care on both sides of the border to keep it from being overcrowded in either place.
