I'm in south Arkansas. Our businesses have been open since May or June last year. We have a mask mandate and crowd size restrictions, but they aren't enforced here because the police said nope. I had a friend come visit from California in August and she was shocked. Everything was pretty much normal. She couldn't believe we were eating inside restaurants and nobody was freaking out. Now the governor has made the mandate a suggestion rather than a directive and reimbursed all the fines. We had a little festival this weekend with a stage and food trucks. It's nice. Everyone should try it. Our unemployment is also just over 4% and our schools have been in session since September. All of them. I can't imagine living like some of the states has forced their people to. It's insane to me. We never would have stood for that here and our government knows it. Edit to add: Even buffets have been open and operating normally for months.

Mississippi did. Louisiana and Arkansas are in the process. In Arkansas our mandates have been dropped to suggestions instead of directives and it will all expire March 31st.

@polktechnologysolutions5874 Florida has the strictest voting laws in the country because of the Bush v Gore election. You're talking about things you know nothing about. That's why they were predicting Florida to flip and it wasn't even close. They couldn't mess it up there like they could other places.

@nbk4dv9 They didn't flip it in this past election, the opposite in fact, despite their efforts. It won't happen in 2024. This was the biggest smear campaign ever with the help of MSM and big tech.
