Neither is long flu. This isn't new. It just was never covered by the MSM. Longterm symptoms in some happens with every respiratory virus.

I'm seeing people saying they got the virus and felt like their arms and legs were weighted down for several weeks after or they felt very weak for a couple of weeks from fatigue. That's from your immune system going nuts. It's what people with systemic autoimmune diseases feel like everyday. This always occurs for some when a new virus is introduced to the system. It's an overreaction by the immune system. Your doctor should put you on a high dose of steroids for a brief period of time because that will suppress the immune system and disrupt the response. It's what autoimmune patients receive during a flare/increase in disease activity. It's not something many GPs have to deal with because our specialists do it. It's a high dose and then you wean down over a week.

I had not seen you in awhile. I see you've got a new name. I'm assuming the other account got banned.

The stupid part of pushing it to immune compromised is we don't produce an immune response until at least the 3rd or 4th dose. That's according to several studies. We have to come off our medication that's suppressing it for a month prior and it still takes that many. So we have to go off our medication that's keeping us from getting really sick for 1 month at least 3-4 times. Yeah, I decided to just get the virus because my medication would already protect me from the crazy inflammatory response that's causing most of the issues. Did fine. Hubby and son took the shot and I ended up taking care of them because they got real sick from the virus and I didn't.

That's called long Covid. The same happens with most viruses. It's common with the flu too. You just never heard about it because nobody's scared of the flu.
