@MilahanPhilosophersCorner Most people don't graduate or even go to college. This excuse only works for a small percentage of the population. We keep viewing everything from the exceptions instead of the rule and are basing policies on helping them while ignoring the many. If that current trend doesn't stop, this downfall will continue. Edit: A breakdown of Millennials. 47% attended college (2 or 4 year). 17% graduated. They spend more of their surplus money on going out to restaurants than on their debt. We know this because we can track it. So why should taxpayers be responsible for bailing them out of bad financial decisions when they don't even prioritize paying that debt? The reality is they could pay it, they just don't.
