  1. I'll explain religion and orientation. For religion, some wear clearly visible markers. Jews wear the hat, Muslims women wear the coverings, another one wear turban, etc. Orientation is because some people are noticeably gay. Or if it's found out, they're fired or not promoted. It's to protect from that. Edit: 9 states are not getting rid of gay marriage. 4 states, including my own Oklahoma, are simply adding a special category called covenant marriage, which is for a man and woman only. That's not taking anything away or giving any rights to anyone. It's just to respect the institution.
