More of a product means lower prices. So more food keeps the prices down. Technology is not “super cheap”. Have you seen how much a new IPhone costs or a good top of the line computer? Housing is because a bubble was created during the lockdowns as people fled certain areas, others bought because they knew inflation was likely so invested in land to preserve the value of their money, and the porous border isn’t helping either. The stock market has been being held afloat by government money being printed and shoved into it keeping inflation up. The government handed out money like it’s a drunken sailor on leave at a strip club causing the initial inflation during the lockdowns. Add in the latest omnibus bill and it’s not getting better anytime soon. Government spending needs to be slashed and held until we get over the hump, but that won’t happen.

For those saying “we’re in a recession!”, we had growth the last two quarters. The first 2 were losses. It’s like when you have a small earthquake before the big one.

That would be correct. Partly. I’ve been surprised how many don’t know that it takes 10 years average for economic policy changes to fully impact the economy. This is the full effect of Obamacare, Obama’s policy changes to correct the bubble that popped in 2008, combined with recent things occurring with increasing the money supply and supply chain issues.

No you’re not. A quarter pound of beef is about $2.50, a single bun would be $0.30, and a single serving of fries would be about $1. You can get 4 burgers from a pound, 8 burgers from a package of buns, and about 5 or 6 servings from a bag of frozen fries. You can even add the cost of it all together and divide by 4 and a single serving still wouldn’t be $12. This is why Americans are fat. You can’t do math and believe what you just said so eat crap.
